Our Airbnb In Lake Delta, NY

My Husband picked out our Airbnb it came with; two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining room, living room, large deck and you can canoe on the water. If you have a boat there is a small driveway that leads all the way down to where you can launch you boat on the water. It was nice to be away from everything any enjoy one another’s company. Each night during our stay we had a bonfire and listened to music while making smores.

During our stay, Michael and I walked down to the shore at our Airbnb and to our surprise we found a ton of fossils.

Natural History and natural evolution is something we enjoy learning about. Let’s just say we were really excited to find decent sized fossils on our trip.

Up Close Of The Fossil I Am Holding.

After finding fossils on the lake at our Airbnb, we decided to take a quick drive over to the other side of the lake to the NYS Park entrance. We walked along the sandy shore and then walked through the woods along the right side of the lake. When walking through the woods Michael started to find fossils. Honestly, this lake has to be covered with them and there was no digging needed all we had to do was look and turn some small rocks over. There is a pavement trail that is connected to the parking lot at the park, it’s a pretty easy trail if you are looking to get outside on your trip and go for a walk.

If you are looking for a relaxing trip and spending quality time with your significant other or friends; Lake Delta is only 2 1/2 hours east of Rochester, NY.
